Dancing around the issue.

It has been pointed out that this blog has not moved on for almost 2 months and I or it have been so busy or too lazy to reflect something of this period. I'm happy to say it is more of the first reason rather than the second but this is still dancing around the issue. The last two months I've been shooting in London, involved in a project in Dessau resulting in an exhibition in the Bauhaus, Dessau and as always frantic activity in and around Berlin. But for now I wanted to show - Ballet of the street -. Whilst in London, on its South Bank in amongst the concrete divides that segment the space and flow in and around the hayward gallery, I found an inspiring sense of humanity. Young lads jumped, span, balanced and conquered the confines of their environment. Forget the trend factor, whether it is cool or not (which it is), the styling or associations, for me then at that moment these lads were the embodiment of humanity in the modern environment. The fixed structures were played with, dissected and dissolved in an explosion of creative energy, humanity flexing it's inventive muscle. Man pitting his wits against rigidity.
